Pieces are starting to come together!

What a difference a day makes! That is such a trite statement, but at times, no other words or expression is a clear.
PC is calmer, medicated yes, but calmer. Like the PC I first met, who had an infectious laugh and a smile that could...and did...stop most women in their tracks! He was such a beach bum, and proudly knew most of regulars at his favorite haunts up and down the beaches of Pinellas County.
So clinical update, breathing slowing but regular. Congestion in lungs, and able to cough some up. Not eating well, but loves protein smoothies I make for him and dietician said that was enough for now.
VA home based primary care involved. This took many months, but amazingly came through same week as Suncoast Hospice. All with work together, since some of his meds are psychotropic and need to continue from VA.
So, for last two nights I have been randomly sewing assorted green 2.5 inch strips together, then into rows, the columns. Just ran out of green strip scraps, so thought best to stop..and since my purpose was to not think, it worked, and so that has been done. It is astonishing, but I had been practicing meditating while sewing...yep, so far all fingers and bones intake. (I have been known to sew my finger, cut my hand, etc)
I took picture of this green thing, just can not figure out how to get into this entry. Another day.
So, just info..during the last two weeks, I have emptied my scrap, crumb bin, my assorted 2.5 strip less than 12 inches long bin, and the green 2.5 bin...so scrappy reigns here..now, what to do with these musings!!!!
May your pieces fit and not need un-sewing! And no HSTs invade your life! Peace, macs
